The diet I use (low carb) suits me well: I find it relatively easy to stick to it, and the weight loss has been excellent. I started it five months ago and still have a way to go, and then there's the challenge of trying to develop habits that will keep me going in the long run.
I'd like to join a support group now, as I'm flagging a bit and could do with some encouragement.
Is there anything I can join where they won't demand I use their methods?
Back when I started, my GP referred me to an NHS weight loss service. It sounds good and I'm looking forward to it, but the waiting list is long, so I think maybe I need to find an alternative.

Are there support groups where you don't have to follow a particular weight loss programme?
