Can I lose weight in a week??

I have just tried on the dress I bought for my work do next week - and it is pulling across my hips and bum. I'm so annoyed with myself for not sorting this sooner.

What's the best way (if any) to lose some weight in a week?

No carbs? Low calories?

Or is it not worth trying?

Please help as I'm panicking!!

in a week you wont lose a decent amount of proper weight, but you might be able to de-bloat / lose a bit of water weight? therefore no carbs and lots of water might help

Can you go and buy some shapewear? helps to smooth it all out so you might feel better in the dress - m&s are good ....though that might not be the most comfortable option if you are going out for a meal ......

Coldfeet is right no carbs and water and something very tight is the only thing that will work at this short notice, and get a wrap that should help lose some inches in time.

Thanks both. Low carbs it is. I have tried it with shapewear and it's still a bit tight. An inch would make a difference so I'll go for it this week and keep my fingers crossed!

Good luck!!

I have had a shrink-wrap treatment before - funnily enough the beautician measured me to be smaller afterwards, but I wasn't by my own tape measures (took my own measurements just before my treatment, and then the morning after). I wouldn't bother with it again personally!!

I want to lose a bit of weight particularly around my tum, hips and bum in time for Xmas - apart from low carbs is there anything else I should try? Oh and exercise, I've got back on my bike, I suppose I ought to walk a bit more instead of jumping on the bus to go a couple of stops.....

Ideas welcome Grin

Thanks again. I've thought about a wrap but I won't bearing in mind what you said ColdFeet. I'm currently eating soup (no bread) and have been to the gym this morning, I can feel the weight falling off me. Wink
