Has anyone else got a Jawbone UP (fitness monitor)?

DH brought me one back from the US last week. It's cool! It tracks my activity in the day and my sleeping patterns at night, and I tell it what I've eaten so it monitors my nutritional intake too.

There are other features too but I'm still getting the hang of it. Anyone else got one?

I have had one for three weeks, I have paired it with my fitness pal just wish it would record gym from mfp app instead of entering it separately! Otherwise its good

Are you still using it? I quite fancy one, even if just to see how much sleep DD isn't letting me have. Feels like it might be something you just use for a couple of months then stick in a drawer?

I have one but like you say, it's been stuck in a drawer. I found it when we moved a couple of weeks ago, but now I can't remember where I put the bloody thing.

It's a bit uncomfortable really, but interesting and reasonably motivating.

There's probably an iphone app that does the same thing and involves tying your phone to your wrist

I have one! I love it! It takes some getting used to (sleeping in it!) but it soon becomes the norm.

How long have you been using it ima?

Yes! Its brill. I only use the walking and sleeping bits as have no clue how to do anything else but I find it really motivating. Instead of moaning when I have to walk anywhere I now get interested in how many steps I can add to daily goal. And it was quite sobering to see how little sleep I sometimes get. You can add people to your Team and see how they are doing, it is quite addictive.

I have a NikeFuel band and it's a similar concept. I LOVE it. It's like a bangle so forget you have it on. I would like it to monitor sleep though - not sure it does.

I love it - am now making a big effort to take more steps (even went to gym this pm to get some running in!). But - I can't work out whether it can tell me my average number of steps or whether I have to work it out manually. Does anyone know? Obviously I can work it out for myself but just seems a bit of a faff...

Meant to say - I love the vibrating alarm. Such a nice way to wake up...

Hi
Thinking of getting a jawbone, are they easy to work?
As in setting up and I presume downloading the info?
Would like to know before I buy
Thanks

I only use mine to track walking and sleeping so I don't know how easy all the other functions are, but I am loving it so far and find it is a real motivator. Very easy to set up and use.
