I am going to take advantage of the last week of free joining and stop making excuses!

i did ww years ago and it was really successful for me and i got down to a happy weight this was pre kids though, i now have a 4yo dd and an 18 mo dd, am a bit worried that ill find it harder this time tring to cook for the family, am i better off eating different meals?

any motivation/tips will be much apreciated, i have some serious bad eating habits at the min and am heavier that i was after i had my girls Shock

we have 2 weddings in june and i would really like to buy something nice and fell nice in it.

No tips as such but might be worth checking who runs your local weight loss service - in my area WW now have the contract to offer 12 weeks free on the NHS and you can self refer (granted if you meet the criteria!)

Hi,
I've been yo-yo dieting for years, tried them all. What I have always found is that the first month or so I'm 100% committed and have great results. Then start to feel deprived, or get fed up , cooking different meals for myself or when the weight losses slow down even when I know I've stuck to it.

I've totally changed my attitude to food, with great results. Ok, it has only been nearly 3 weeks, but it's so easy!

Check out the- I've just had my hypnotic gastric band installed...thread.

I was sceptical, but it really works!

Your GP surgery would probably know and be able to signpost you on. It was just a thought - a friend of mine has started WW this way and is hoping to carry on after her weeks are completed.

Using MyFitnessPal really works for me. I'm not all that enamoured of WW or SW - in my experience, they weigh you then try to flog you their food.

Come and join our WW thread - it's been running since January and we're all losing lots and sharing low point food ideas! Very motivational! I've lost 1st in 7 weeks and finding that you can lose weight without buying ANY branded products, just by changing your food choices.

Good luck!

linky to amazing thread
