Because I can't do it in RL

I'm getting married in just over a month, having booked it just a few weeks ago. Very small ceremony in our beautiful local registry office followed by a simple lunch afterwards. And all on the hush, hush just because I'd rather keep it quiet until we're married because everyone decides to stick their oars in when you're trying to plan otherwise, and I know distant family will get the hump that they're not invited, but it was that or not get married.

Anyway, the point ... The only two people there who won't be immediate family are my best friend and her (new) DH. They got married three weeks ago! They live overseas (about a two hour flight away) and can only come back the night before the wedding and leave the day after because of work, so they're already spending an absolute fortune just attending.

Before her wedding she had so many problems with family members and wasn't even sure how she was getting to the church, so the day before I booked a wedding car for her, but it half paid for by the grooms parents.

I asked if her DH would mind taking some wedding photos for us as he's quite good at photography and has a nice camera, but really we only wanted him to share with us the photos he would take anyway, not be an unofficial photographer or anything.

She phoned me last night because they've booked and paid for a wedding photographer for us!!! How lovely is that? I just can't believe anyone (apart from DH to be and my parents) would be that nice to me! I'm so pleased, one that we have friends who care that much, and two that we will have professional pictures of our day
