I thought it would be nice to hear about what everyone is most excited about for their wedding! It can be anything, no matter how big or small.

I am excited about people seeing the decoration, which I am putting a ton of effort into. I know it's not the main focus of the day, but I will be so proud if I pull it off.

Likewise, I'm really looking forward to having all my family under the same roof. I literally can't remember the last time all my family were together :)

And finally, the dress. I am so excited about seeing how it will look when it's finished!

Obviously I'm most excited about actually getting married, but that doesn't mean we can't look forward to the party itself right?

Obviously I am looking forward to marrying the loveliest man on the planet Grin

I am loving the planning bits and have been to a wedding fair thus moring and found the perfect hair piece. I want to wear it NOW!!!

I am looking forward to every single thing. I am like a kid in a sweet shop, waiting for Christmas.

Please remind me of this when I have my bridezilla moment.

I am really looking forward to the music and cocktails at our drinks reception! I know I'll be nervous during the ceremony and probably a little on edge all morning - but I think by the time I've a cocktail in hand and listing to the amazing singer we've booked I'll be content.
I can't wait to wear my dress and have my hair and makeup all done and see the final look. I hope it's as nice as I imagine Grin

It does feel a bit like waiting for Christmas doesn't it Grin.

I haven't chosen my hair piece yet, but when I do, you can bet that I'll be wearing it around the house! I'll be cleaning the bath with it in!!

I don't know if either of you are thinking of going to the National Wedding Show....It's on in earls Court and the NEC but if you put the code "Brides" in the promotional code bit you get two tickets for £15.00

Me and Mr Duck are planning a smash and grab operation - note to self - avoid the crap. You do not need an ice sculpture!

The dress is still too small so no Cake or Wine for me for a bit! PIL are being really huffy saying we are leaving them out. Only one of the boys has been measured for his suit and the final deadline is approaching. The Priest objected to our flowers on Sunday so I have had to cancel them and now have to try and book the official church florists. My veil arrived and I looked stupid in it. I have lost the new glasses I bought for the wedding day because the house is a tip and finally MIL has planned a second hen do for me and invited all her friends because she didn't like my ideas and pregnant SIL couldn't join in!

Phew thanks if you managed to read all of that!

oh good grief!! sounds like you needed a rant.

I have a FIL who has refused to come to our wedding and a BIL who has said that the date of our wedding is inconvenient so would we mind getting married as late as possible? Yes actually we do mind!!

Thankfully I am still calm but there are still 354 days to go....

You can pick your friends... To get back on topic I'm looking forward to being able to say my husband and picking up our rings in three weeks. Also looking forward to spending the night before with my parents and two best friends and them helping me get ready. The reception is on a steam train so can't wait to see the train all dressed up! Smile 8 weeks to go!

Steam train sounds such a cool idea Grin

It will all be worth it when you two catch a snraky moment together on the big day and you can bask in the glow of newly-weddedness.
