Help me and my sister plan a surprise proposal to her DP

Just posted in AIBU as I'm new and didn't realise there's a wedding section.

My Dsis wants to propose to her partner. They have five children and are the happiest couple ever. Her DP is shy but would absolutely love knowing she had planned the proposal to him. Some ideas we've had are:

Having a family photoshoot wherein the kids hold props reading 'will you marry me/mummy' which he doesn't realise until he sees the photo (cue photos of him saying yes etc)

Her hiring a screen at the local small cinema. They never go out but have been planning to for ages and it isn't unusual for the cinema to be empty so he wouldn't suspect. The film gets interrupted by a photo slide show of their years together with their songs playing and funny captions, interspersed with videos of the kids and ending with 'will you marry me?' The lights then go up to reveal their family, friends and kids have sneaked into seats behind them to see him (hopefully) say yes. They then go on to pre planned engagement party.

What do you think? Any input/suggestions/different ideas are welcome. Her DP is lovely and has been such a great partner to my sister and dad to the kids so we really want to make this amazing for him.

If they do the second one we were going to put large photos of grabs/grandads etc who have died on chairs so they can be there to 'see' the moment too. Is that sweet or creepy do you think?

I noticed your thread in AIBU, and while that board isn't the best place for this sort of question, you won't get many answers on here. I'd suggest you post again on chat. You will get a lot more replies than on here. without the harshness of AIBU. Good luck, sounds a wonderful idea.
