North Hampshire here. Some terrifying gales overnight. It didn't sound like wind it sounded like a T-rex was storming down the street.

Can see some branches off trees.

Very wet here (Leicester) but not much in the way of wind. I'm at our temperatures though ~ we've gone from 8.5C an hour ago to 2.1C now, so we've been having snow as well in the last few minutes!

Just outside Eastbourne & the early hours were the windiest I have ever known since living here (10 years).

Woken up at 5.30am by bedside lights going on - they are those touch switch ones & any little flicker in the supply & they turn on!

Hi all, thanks for good wishes, we survived the night but very tired, it's carnage here on site, tents shrewn all over the place, camping equipment blown around. At least we are warm and dry. I want to go home now but the Dds are looking forward to the fair, swimmkng and disco.
