ok. started weaning about 5 months. he loved it.....couldnt get enough. would finish mouthful and open mouth for more. harldy any came out.
in the last few days he doesnt want it. maybe teething? he hasnt got any teeth yet tho. maybe just gone off food?
im trying to keep milk intake as high as poss even it it takes several attempts as hes not eating any solids.
i know its no big deal about solids but its frustrating how he seemed to love it so much but now just clamps mouth shut and moves head away.
he will chew on a spoon and seems to want what i have (chewed on bit of pitta day before yesterday and bit of cheese on toast yesterday.....fancies my lunch not his own.)
should i keep offering it even if he refuses (no way im gonna force it on him) or should i not offer it for a day or so in case he is "Bored" of solids?!
oh and hes only put on 1 lb in the last 7 weeks which isnt great either.

i should add that hes not been upset (so maybe not teeth?) hes a very happy smiling contented baby and sleeps well generally too.
i just dont want to put him off food but also dont want him not to eat. so not sure whats for the best.
