Weaning

Expressing and going back to work

I am going back to work at the end of April. My baby will be 7 months by then. I haven't started weaning and he now refuses a bottle.

I am aware that I need to get him to take a bottle and plan on buying a nuk one as he did take those in the hospital when he was new born. But... I don't know how much milk I'll need to express! I know I sound dumb, but I really don't know how much milk he's taking at the moment - I'm feeding on demand and he's growing well (he's big, in 9-12 month clothes already!)

I know he'll be on solid foods by then, but he'll only have been eating it for a month (I really don't want to start weaning early). I expect he will need a lot of milk. But how much? Does anyone know how much breast milk a 7 month old baby will need if it's supplemented with solid foods (vegetables mostly).

Thank you, and sorry if this sounds stupid! This is my first baby and I don't really know what I'm doing! :)
