parsnips?

can they be boiled and pureed?

Oh yes - DS loved his parsnips cos they're sweet. He now loves "proper" parsnips with his dinner

yes. DS still adores parsnips at 2.6. You can also mash them in with mashed potato, lovely mix.

yes - peel, quarter and take out the hard bit in the middle first (sorry if stating the obvious...)

roast parsnip is now a favourite with both of mine. dd1 (2.9) hasn't worked out they are a vegetable

Parsnips are a wonderful weaning food. I used to cut them into sticks and then boil to soften them and let him suck them.

Mine loves them pureed with a bit of potato and a drop of b/milk. Stinky burps though
