My twins are 8 months and weaning is going well - home-made food, lots of finger foods such a fruit, frittatas, omelettes, and mushed up salt-free versions of what we eat.
They seem to really like toast / crumpets / pitta. Initially, I wasn't concerned about the salt content of these because they really weren't eating much. Now, though, they are actually eating bits of bread rather than chewing / throwing. It's still not much, but given they also like cheese (don't give them huge amounts), should I be more concerned?
I really don't think I have time to make bread type stuff - there just isn't time in the day!
