Spitting up when weaning?

DD is 6.5 months old and we've been weaning for about a month or so. She's not really eating a lot of food yet - I'm sort of doing BLWish, so mostly just giving her bits of what eating, but if it's e.g. porridge or yoghurt I'll spoon feed for as long as she'll let me hold the spoon. She likes fruit and yoghurt mainly and has also had a couple of Ella's pouches which she's quite keen on.

She was previously EBF and has been a reasonably spitty baby all her life, lots of muslins always to hand here. I'd sort of expected that the spitting up would start to tail off now that we are weaning/she's 6 mo, but it really isn't at all. Still spitting up after milk feeds and lots of solid mealtimes too, plus also randomly throughout the day (but this might be related to how much she's moving about? She started crawling this week so she's basically flipping herself over to her tummy and taking off every time I put her down - if I did that after lunch I expect I might throw up too...)

I didn't really mind spitting up when it was just milk, she's always been a 'happy spitter' so she wasn't bothered, but now there's actual food involved it's much more horrible. I've just this evening cleaned up three separate but fairly sizeable voms that are a mixture of a mango flavoured yoghurt and an Ella's spinach pouch (ick). It's gross and it stains!

This is so long now I'm not even sure what my question is. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced similar and for reassurance that it will get better soon. Anyone?
