My baby is 7 months old and I have been feeding him purees. When I got him weighed this week he had jumped very slightly into the next percentile. He actually lost weight a couple of weeks before so it's a bit of a shift. He has never been a chubby baby anyway. HV said he was fine although now I am concerned I am feeding him too much. I was giving him 3 cubes of frozen purée for each meal sometimes followed by some fruit/yogurt for eg. (3 times a day and he has dropped a milk feed), and he was happily eating it all. Now I'm being advised by partner/mil to drop that to 2 cubes. Somehow this seems a bit mean! Should be exercise control at this age even if they keep wanting more? I wondered how many frozen cubes you normally give your babies for each meal?
