8.5mo - are we on track?

Just looking for a sense check really. Started weaning at 5.5m and after a few weeks of taking to it well, DS went off food until about 4 weeks ago so I guess we didn't progress as it should before then.

Anyway, DS's current intake is porridge or weetabix for breakfast, most days with pureed fruit added. Lunch is mixed veg and meat puree with a couple of those Organix puffs or rice cakes to feed himself and then some fruit in one of those net thingy's that he holds and chews/sucks. Dinner is sometimes puree again and toast or a selection of whatever we are having that he feeds himself (or sometimes just plays with). He is CMPA so no dairy and still has 30oz of formula each day.

Does this sound about right for 8.5m?

This about the level my 7.5 mo is at, so yes I'd say you are on track. Just take baby's lead. I think the minimum milk they should habe until 12 months is 20 oz so you're fine in that respect.

Sounds like you're doing great.
