What is your 8 month old eating?

I think am being a bit too cautious with DS food and looking at other threads people have offered more food choices than me.

I do a mix of BLW and purée food.

Can you tell me a typical day of food for a 8 month old.

Haven't got a 8 month old any more but at that age dd would have had something like this:

breakfast ready brek with raisins or toast and a banana

Snack if at playgroup or other groups or a bf at home

Lunch things like eggy bread, tuna and cucumber sandwich, basically anything I had

Bf again in afternoon

Tea thinks like spag Bol, toad in the hole, roast dinner, fish pie, homemade beef burger, chicken korma and rice, again whatever we were having.

More bf in the evening.

My dd2 is 8 months today! She's had weetabix for breakfast with toast as finger food. Then bf mid morning.
Spinach and potato purée but more mashed than purée with breadsticks and Philadelphia as finger food. Bf this afternoon, then dinner with dd1 who's 3 will be pasta with veggie sauce, green beans all as finger food. I'll then give some fruit for pudding. Bf before bed.

My daughter is also 8 months old and this is what she had.

Bread with a thin layer of apricot jam.

She didn't have lunch today as we were at the doctors and she ended up to knackered, but the lunch she had yesterday was chicken mixed with cottage cheese on a wholewheat pita and strawberries on the side.

Because she missed lunch she had a rather large afternoon snack. Half a pear, three large strawberries, and two rice cakes.

Dinner was chicken and vegetable risotto with yogurt mixed with fruit puree for dessert.

Lots of breastfeeding in between, as I think she's teething and she likes to breastfeed more when teething, and a 2 oz. bottle of formula before bed.

My 8 month old loves her food, today she had

530am (bleurgh esp as had had a feed at 1am and I was at work til midnight) breastfeed

Breakfast - readybrek with full fat milk and fruit puree

Midmorning - breastfeed, 2 mini ricecakes, one mini oatcake, a few blueberries

Lunch - fishcakes (1 1/2 mini ones from abel and cole) with sweet potato and parsnip mash, a yoghurt

midafternoon - breastfeed

Tea - half a marmite sandwich (nicked off her sisters plate), carrot and lentil puree/soup, half a pot of ambrosia custard

Bedtime - breastfeed

(and she'll proabbly have 1-2 feeds in the night too)

At 8 months old my DD had milk, milk, yoghurt and more milk. Total spoon refuser and wouldn't/ couldn't pick up food herself

She's 16 mo today and tonight for dinner had 1/2 an 8oz rib eye steak with broccoli and potato wedges so she got there in the end!
