Good pub for sunday lunch - east side of lake windermere?

Sure fire recommendations please. We are staying near Lowood Hotel but want to find somewhere different that does good pub roast dinner. ( dh v sniffy about roast dinners in pub, but I will be buggered If I will cook a full roast during our week away s/catering. )
