We were looking to maybe stay for a week in the summer here. Dp's parents used to own a caravan at the park about 15 years ago so its a long time scince hes been. What are the caravans and site like? Is it suitable for a 2 year old and a 9 year old and are there lots of things to do in the surrounding areas?

thankyou ]

I haven't been there but know Rhyl very well and it is a bloody dump.
Why do you want to go there in particular?

Rhyl isnt too bad!

they have done a lot to it recently

there is a great kids park on the front, also a kids outdoor huge paddling pool where you can take inflatebals and are places for parents to sit

small fair at the front and a good amount of shops

Yes, there is the side to it with the amusement arcades! But otherwise its fine!

There is lots to do, you are not too far from Anglesey, Llandudno with shops, beach and toboganning!, Colwyn Bay where there is a moutain zoo

and you could also visit snowdonia

Have driven past Palins, not sure if I would go to it, but its not my cup of tea, we would prefer a quieter one

There are lots of caravan parks were Palins is, all pretty similar

Ideal with children as thee is a fair in the area

I sound like I work for the tourist board lol

thankyou,
we were going to go to haven but dp used to go to this particular place as his parents used to own a caravan there and hired it out. so as i wanted to go back to wales and he is remonissing (how do you spell that?) we thought we could give it a chance. it looked a bit old from the pictures on their site so i thoght i would get some advice first about the place

I could imagine it being a little old, but I dont know, as I said, Only driven past

I am sure as long as you dont expect luxary it will be ok!

There is lots to do around there though

But is a very busy area with loads of caravanners!!
