After a wildly successful holiday to Cornwall last week, DH declared last night that he'd like to 'squeeze in another holiday before the end of the summer'. As we happen to be visiting friends near Taunton during the August bank holiday then somewhere on the South Devon coast would be good, he suggested.
So it's easy peasy. We have a 4yo, a 6yo, me, DH in a wheelchair and we want a nice but easily accessible beach, indoor and outdoor pool, interesting things to do nearby and a reasonable but reasonably priced hotel which will provide an accessible family room for three night only somewhere around the August Bank Holiday. Gah!
After a quick search on the internet I was amazed to find that Langstone Cliffs Hotel fits all our requirements (Dawlish Warren beach is even wheelchair accessible) and has a large accessible family room available for when we want it.
Life is never this easy. Never. So there must be a catch. Anyone stayed at Langstone Cliffs recently and can tell me what the catch is? There is one archived thread which mentions it, but that was from a three or four years ago. I've never stayed in this area and my guess is that it might be a bit 'kiss me quick' although the DDs will love that!
