How old are your children again?

I went with my dd's when they were four and two and they had a fantastic time. I know it's not to everyone's taste, but for my dd's it was great (if expensive).

Don't expect to see the sea though.

How far are you travelling? Because if not very far, then it may be quite fun, depending on the weather, but if you are travelling a long way, then it pees down with rain all day, and you have a long journey home on the train in wet clothes then no.

I haven't actually been to Weston for over 20 years, so don't know what it has in terms of entertainment these days.

Well if you are prepared to go to Bath, why not try Bristol? We have @Bristol which is really good - all indoors, the Zoo - which I haven't been to yet but been told that a lot of it is covered so you are ok if it rains...

I went to Weston super mud during half term with my DD 3.6 and friend and her children 10 and 7 and we had a great time

It rain all day long, but we just put our coats on and went on the beach for an hour or so, had a donkey ride then changed clothes.

Then went to pier and spends loads of money on crappie machines ( but had great fun).

lunch

and then to the aquarium and finally it was sunny so went back onto the beach around 5.00pm and even into the sea!

then came home after a very enjoyable day...

Do not bother coming to Swindon - and not sure Gloucester has much to offer small children..

We live near WSM and love it. But Bristol is also fab and has more to offer if the weather is bad, including the free museum at the top of Park St, which is very child friendly! Sunny- WSM. Raining- Bristol.
