Hi everyone, not sure I'll be welcome on here. Just thought I would try and make an effort. I'm a single dad and have been for some time. I have normally been fine, but lately just feeling a little isolated. My son has started Secondary School and there's been a very acrimonious relationship with his mother over some years that of late has really started to take its toll on both me and my boy. Just thought I'd try and connect with other parents with kids around the same age as I don't really reach out much. Anyway, if it's just a 'mum' site feel free to ignore me and I'll go away. ;) Hope you're all winning.

Welcome, Daddy Smile

Yes, have a look around the site - this is a BIG forum ('from parents, for parents', so despite the name, men are welcome).
Do some reading in 'Chat', post when you feel you have something to contribute and beware of AIBU and start your own threads when you feel ready.
There's a 'Teenager' section for instance if you want to take bout your DS a bit more.

Welcome, brace yourself some replies on here can be a little harsh.

Need to start calling it parentsnet really so that all will feel comfy in posting. Not just Mum's, happy hunting around the site I keep making errors and clicking on wrong things and forgetting to preview before posting, there is no edit once posted!!

:)
