Things to do in and around Porthcawl in the rain...Help!

We're due to leave for Porthcawl this afternoon for the bank holiday weekend. I've just checked the weather report and while Saturday seems fine, Sunday and Monday look like they're likely to be very wet.

Can anyone suggest indoors-ey things to do with 7 year old DS and 4 year old DD please? I'll take raincoats and wellies but there are only so many rainy walks I can stand!

Ooh and places to eat too please. We're booked into a B&B but will need lunches and dinners.

I don't know Porth Cawl but I know the surrounding area... There's a cinema and outlet village at Bridgend, which isn't too far a drive away. 40 minutes drive would get you to Cardiff Bay where there's Techniquest and Dr Who exhibition.

Not helpful for rain, but there's good rock pooling and the remains of a ruined castle at Dunraven bay beach in Southerndown.

There's a couple of soft plays around. I've never been though so can't comment... once upon a play time in Bridgend and mil lies madhouse (although I think the name may have changed) in Ogmore.

There's also Wiggleys Fun Farm near Bridgend which has all the usual indoor/outdoor farm animals, play areas etc.

For food I like The Pelican in her Piety in Ogmore. It's not the cheapest but the food's always been good - we've been there with kids (4 and 7) for lunch.
