First trampoline for 2 and 3 yr olds - help!

We're looking to buy a trampoline for a 2 children aged 2 and 3. We want to get one that will last but don't want to get one that is so big that they are not heavy enough to bounce on. Also, it must be able to hold them both at the same time.

Does anybody have any ideas or tips or experience? I've been looking at the TP Big Bouncer which looks great but I'm wondering if it will fit them both. Or maybe just a standard 8ft one?

Any advice is much appreciated!

I would try and find one that is taller than that one as it won't last long as they will become to big for it. I would get a normal 8 ft one it will be higher off the ground so they won't be able to get on it without you which is really important.

Thank you! I was thinking of that as a bad thing but you do have a very good point! It has to last and be as safe as it can be. We've got a decent space for it so I'll start looking at 8 footers.

Don't worry about them not being heavy enough to bounce on it, my neice is 2.5 and she can bounce on our 14ft easily. they just love running around on it too!

I think I need to get a tape measure out and measure the space properly. Do you think that it is better to get a larger trampoline (as big as the space can handle) that is marked officially as 6 years an upwards so that it will last instead of going for one of the much smaller todlerish trampolines? Forkhandles - you've got me thinking :-)

I know that no trampoline is entirely safe and they all need to be supervised so maybe I should go for one that has plenty of space for them to grow into and not bump into each other even now.

Any brand recommendations? I've been looking at TP only because they are a name I know.

My dc had a second hand trampoline to begin with and I just didn't put the leg extenders on, so it was 10ft diameter but only 18 inches off the ground....

They loved using it for picnics..

We are moving next week and will have a garden - I have bought a normal 10ft trampoline for my DS (nearly 3) and DD (13 months).

They have both used my sister's one (14ft) - DS just runs around in circles but can bounce and DD crawls on it and enjoys the flex in it.

we have a big enough garden to take the 14ft one and three children and they love it (7, 4 and 4). I would say go as large as you can, you get less of the bounce back thing, when they are bigger. Do you know what I mean - when one person landing bounces the other in to the air or knocks them over.

You've all been really helpful, thank you! I'm going to go for as big as we can! This is instead of a TP climbing frame/house which would have been much more expensive and they may have grown out of sooner.

One last question - do I need to worry about cats and foxes (we get a lot of them) trashing it?

my sis has 10ft one with enclosure,and her little 20 mth old loved bouncing on it!
