Recommendations for a scooter for a 5 year old? I'm thinking a 3 wheeler you can steer?

My dd had a cheapy scooter from Tesco which had minimal use until recently when she's been using it every day, unsurprisingly for the price perhaps it has now broken. It wasn't very good to begin with, very stiff and clunky, but the thing she liked and got good at was that you could turn the wheels by turning the handlebar. I don't have experience of other scooters to know if this is a good feature to have but she liked it, it transferred well to learning to ride a bike, and it's what she's used to so we thought her next scooter should probably feature this as well? Or do all scooters do this? No idea!

Also, although she's 5 she's only just got confidant enough on the scooter with 3 wheels, so we'd like a 3 wheeled scooter that will last a couple of years, so preferably with an adjustable post for growth spurts.

I don't care whether the scooter is cheap or more expensive, only that it's a really good scooter (cheaper is always better of course!) that will last.

Recommendations?

I would still be tempted to go for a two wheeler unless she has poor coordination - it'll also help her balance for when she rides a bike.

Not a 3 wheeler but worth a try: my 5 year old has just graduated to a 2 wheeler and we got one with chunky wheels which extends (higher for when he's taller) when needed. It's a Two Bare Feet one, seems really good quality but I don't know if the wheels turn with the handlebar, has a stand even (so neater to store in the house) - I am really impressed with it!

Dd had the maxi micro scooter but at 6 she said it was too babyish and we brought the micro scooter sprite. I wish I'd just brought that to begin with.

If she's used to a two wheeler I'd stick with two wheels but go for a sturdier better built one like micro sprite. I think it's jd bugg that's the other good make.

This is the one dd has but it's gone up in price by a lot. I'm actually shocked at the price. We've had ours two years and I'm sure only paid £54
