Poor dpony has colic again she blew up like a ballon but seemed ok ish. Had bute and was better. Today and lastnight i couldnt get her to drink. She is now tied up in her stable on iv fluids.Sad She has had more bute and budeospan(sp) She is so cold so has her winter rug on.Hmm
Anyway i am siting on the floor in her stable with her head on my lap.Everyone is saying that she should be pts as it keeps happening but when she is well she is really well is that makes sense. I dont know what to do for the best

Thanks
Vet agrees with me! and she is a very down to earth vet. So think i will nurse her through it this time and see. She is feeling so sorry for herself and it is all because her last owner neglated her and she was worm ridden when we rescued her she has come so far.

Yes yard manager is being lovely bring out cups of tea and biscuits etc.
They thought she had displaced colon last year but it wasnt thank godness. She is a American Miniture so it makes everything harder as she is so small. I have thought about ulcers in the past will discuss it with the vet tomorrow. The only reason we got her was because she was in such a state. She also has reproductive parts missing(she never came into season so it was looked at furthur) So we are wondering if there are bits of her gut missing.
Thanks for the hand holding
