Childcare vouchers whilst on omp or smp

Hello,

Wondering if anyone can help me with this.

I'm on maternity leave at the moment and my school has decided to not pay me omp as I've handed in my notice so won't be doing the 13 weeks' service. I hope to get a job in another school within the same LA (if all schools aren't academies by then...) and, if I do, my current school will be forced to pay me my omp as a lump sum.

At the moment though, I only get smp but I also have childcare vouchers. They're not mentioned on my payslip but I know they're being paid into my account.

If I were getting omp as well as smp, would I have to pay the voucher contribution myself? If I get the omp as a lump sum of / when I get another job, will I have to pay for the childcare vouchers?

My school isn't part of the LA's HR scheme so I can't ask without having to ask via the school directly.

Any ideas or thoughts would be welcomed! Thanks.

Hi
Not sure of your exact situation, but I recently took 11 months maternity and the full amount of pay that I was allowed. The school continued to pay my childcare vouchers even after all other pay to me had stopped (after the 9 months). This is an academy, but I'm on Burgendy Book contract.
So far as I can tell, there is no requirement to repay them and I certainly haven't been asked for a repayment yet (been back 4 months).
