I work in a school where the ta's have been offered voluntary redundancy, we have to give our decisions in soon and as I've sat down to write my decision to not take it I've suddenly realised I don't know what to put. Has anyone written a similar letter and can you give any advice?

Will it form part of their decision about who gets redundancy and who doesn't? If not, then a simple statement of your decision should suffice. Dear XX I am writing to inform you that I do not wish to seek voluntary redundancy at this stage. I enjoy working with the children/the staff team and wish to continue contributing to the education at X school.

Haven't written a letter like this, but have resigned several times!!

Thank you! I'm sat here full of cold and have been looking at a blank page for a hour.
Assuming I understand correctly we let them know our decision then if people don't go voluntarily it will go to interview and we have to apply for our jobs.
