I want to say 'This class cannot behave and as a result are making F all progress. Despite me being an outstanding teacher with excellent results across the school I would like SLT to actually back me up and deal with the poor behaviour" but that will not go down well on my departmental SEF... Help?

In my opinion, the progress of this class is compromised by frequent disruptive behaviour from some students, which has not responded to the recognised behaviour management strategies used.

I believe that a cohesive, consistently applied, alternative management programme needs to be put in place to ameliorate the negative impact of this behaviour which is applicable only to this group.

How's that?
