creative task for SEN children?

I have to prepare a creative task for an intervention group of 6 year 3/4 children with focus on either numeracy or literacy. Any help/ advise or experience with this you can share with me would be very much appreciated, thanks.

Can you be more specific? Do you know what sen profiles? presume this is more than listening to a story and drawing a picture?!
