toxic department meetings - always cannot sleep after them...

we have a small department and anytime I bring idea - shall we try this, what about that...I get a negative blow and a list of issues that this idea might bring... a lot of time feel undermined ...I know that the answer woudl be the best to leave? but I guess at any workplace this might be the case...maybe I need to change something in me or just NOT to say anything?

I have a similar situation, just don't fit in. Some of the staff are just really unpleasant people. Will be leaving at Easter after the slowest six months of my life.
