Off to a very reputable breeder to see the most beautiful Ragdoll boy tonight. He is registered and apparently has excellent pedigree. He is 10weeks old but won't be released until 13 weeks, complete with microchip, both vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, food, vet checked twice.

Mum and Dad and Aunty live there too. Anything I'm missing?

Have a read of this. There's mention of checking certification?

I'm looking forward to the pictures. 🙂

Thanks Cozie I don't see mention of checking certificates on that link. I know she is registered breeder with TBRCC though as that's where I got her details.

With regard to HCM, Happenstance?

Oh sorry. Thought you meant as in fraudulent certification. Yes she has vet checks for HCM and PCD but will ask for proof.

Blood tests should have been carried out for HCM and PKD.

Out of interest, are pet insurance companies excluding diseases to which a breed might have a genetic predisposition, yet?

You should ask if you can use her wireless for the immediate uploading of kitten pics Grin

scream

How big/small is he? I've recently learned that ragdolls are quite big cats. What are the parents like?

Awwwww love ragdolls! I've got one she's absolutely gorgeous. She's pretty big and heavy for a cat so your boy will get even bigger. He's stunning. Are you planning to keep him as a housecat? My cats breeder said they have no road sense.

Yes definitely an indoor cat. Am totally in love 😍. His Mum and Dad are cuddly beauties too. Have already started shopping for swanky litter trays and cat trees 😂
