sounds daft, but first time i've experienced this, so thought i'd just double check i've done the right thing.
My indoor cat got me this morning while i was trimming her claws, one of her back paws dug into my hand, and i've got a fairly deep scratch about an inch long just by my wrist.
i cleaned it at the time and applied a plaster til it stopped bleeding, noticed it was sore about 1 mins ago and noticed it was quite red and the center of the new scab was looking a bit off.. squeezed it and got a load of pus out of it.
i've taken the whole scab off, squeezed it until it all bled fresh blood, given it another clean and applied some savlon and covered it in another plaster.
Do i need to do anything else?
