The litter tray

All the neighbourhood cats shit in our garden!

Hi I'm hoping someone here can help with a suggestion on how to keep cats from pooing in our garden. There's at least 3 new poos in the garden every morning.
Normally I would just clean it up but I'm pregnant and scared of toxoplasmosis. Also, its disgusting for visitors to have to walk past piles of crap to get to our front door.
Suggestions please?

Go onto Amazon and search battery operated cat repellers. My parents are delighted with the results of theirs. The results were pretty much instant.

Declared cat owner/trained to use a litter tray only.

Buy your own cat & it will chase the others off the property.

Strong-smelling stuff like garlic, citrus, coffee grounds, Olbas Oil etc. discourage cats from the garden. Strew them in inconspicuous places and alternate between different scents as nothing lasts forever. If they're digging in the soil, put plants, small prickly sticks or another physical barrier on the soil so they can't "assume the position" comfortably.

Same problem here op, but we also have afield next door which they can't be arsed to use!! Have even had a neighbour complain that he saw his cats being chased off our garden by the dogs being deliberately set on them ( they are gun dogs, I gave them the get back command, they don't chase cats because they don't have feathers, they were just going backwards in the direction I pointed at :)) neighbour got told where all the cat shit was and would he like to clear it up, funnily enough he declined, but I also don't have a cat problem anymore.

I love seeing gun dogs in action Cath, our cattery owner has them & they are so well trained. One word from the owner & they go from barking to silent.

my neighbour put curry powder in her garden and I don't think she has found any cat poo since.
