Pearl or Ethel?

We collect her beginning of next month and I asked her birth family to call her Pearl, but I like Ethel now Confused

I'll have to break it to ds2. He likes Pearl. I might have to toss a coin or let him choose. I prefer Ethel.

How about Pretzel? It's not exactly a combination of both but it's 'companionable' to the two names I think.

Is she DS2's first kitten? If so, it looks like you'll have to call her Pearl then. (Maybe concede on that as long as he helps with the tray cleaning?)
