Raw Food Diet For Cats - Info ??

Any tried this or know brands etc I can try ??

I have a young pukey boy :( & wondered if this would help him, I've seen an amazing transformation in my friends elderly & quite ill French Bulldog since he's been put on the dog version of this diet

I have had him vet checked in the past, a few times but seems he's just a gannet who wolfs his food & throws it back up again - he's a rescue cat, was the runt of the litter, initially rejected by his mum & hand reared for his first few weeks, which the vet thinks is the reason.

It's got worse this last few days, so have an appointment on Monday to see the vet again, it doesn't seem like an emergency given the circumstance & the only appointment I could get at our cities branch.

I'm expecting the same diagnosis, but better safe than sorry

Does anyone know about a specialist raw food diet for cats ??

Thank you

If you mean commercial raw diets...the ratios are the same for cats as dogs.

Most raw feeders use actual meat and bones rather than pre-made food though. Have a look at sites like this.

Have you tried feeding him smaller amounts? Has he had bloods checked and his weight monitored as well as just a check up?
