I have a 4 year old female lab. I have also been accepted to board guide dog pups. I have previously had one very young female pup for a weekend and it was fine. I have a second one who came on Monday. He is a boisterous 9 month old male. He was recently spayed. He has been in my dogs face a lot and she has given him a few warning growls and snaps. She has now taken to staying in her bed and she has been sick during the night. This morning she is refusing her food. She never refuses her food even if she has been sick. She is slinking about with her tail between her leg, looking away from us and the pup, licking her lips and generally looking very sad and unhappy. I know she is stressed but I am not sure if the vomiting is a sign of this or not. Has anyone got any ideas for me to relieve her stress. I will call the guide dog coordinator later and speak to her. Just looking for any immediate advice. Thanks.
