We have a cross breed puppy. Had her from 7wks. Very good at home. Friendly, affectionate, good with kids and other animals. House trained.
However, lately there has been several issues.
Main one is she seems to be showing signs of separation anxiety. She is never left for more than a couple of hours. Always has toys/bones and chews and has had a run. She would chew the kitchen skirting board when very little (left in kitchen when go out). Thats was just normal teething stuff.

Sorry past few weeks when left-often only for 45min, shes damaged the kitchen. I Move everything out of reach, but she still jumps up and gets something. She had grabbed letters that were placed far back on the worktop, ripped scourers etc. Silly stuff. But she has also ripped about six holes in the wall through to brick. Dont know how to manage this? When I come back she acts terrified and lies on her belly even though all I say is.'whats this? And then ignore her
Second problem is taking her out. She pulls bad. Call her back to heel repeatedly and she goes back to pulling. Then if she sees something that catches her eye a dog etc she walks in front of me or behind me or whatever to get to what it is in a friendly way but shes so distracted she forgets im there and she nearly pulls me over. Shes strong and I struggle to hold her still.
Off the lead she generally has great recall but again, lately, she often bombs it halfway across the field after a dog also kids playing footy. She does come back but only when shes ready.
Finally, today, she has jumped on the sofa three times and when ive gone to move her the fabric has a wet patch like shes had a wee. Though it doesn't really smell.
Its all getting really hard work!

could she be coming into season? I know nothing about having a bitch but our dog was a stroppy PITA at about the same age which I understood to be doggy adolescence. His hormones were rampaging I think and his mind was on other things rather than doing what he was told. I wonder if anxiety is a pre cursor to her coming into season?

I think Insan1ty is on the right track. A friend I know has a rescue cocker, whose nerves were seeming to improve and then a few months in she regressed back to being very nervous and clingy. Toilet training went back a bit too. Sure enough she came into season a week or two later.

She could be coming into season, or just hitting her teenage stage.
