As I mentioned on another thread , we had to let our gorgeous big hound go last week due to osteosarcoma . We were devastated . Still are , but our other girl was worse . In the space of 12 hours , she became nervy , shaking and whimpering , and hiding in my bedroom whenever anything loud went on . I couldn't bear it on top of everything else , so went to our local RGT and basically sobbed all over them .
New boy came yesterday . So far , he's found EVERY sofa , stolen a meatball off the tray as I was getting them out of the oven , and is currently curled up with DD1 watching Frozen . I think he'll be fine .
