We have a really lovely rescue dog who's now 2. It's been quite a long haul getting her to reliably recall, but thing have improved, which has also coincided with the local farmer moving his cattle so we have a number of nearby, empty fields (with rights of way) to walk in. This is great, and she loves being off the lead, except she tends to roll in a selection of different poos she finds on her travels (including the dreaded fox poo). She comes back as soon as I call her, but it's usually a bit too late and she's stinking. Are there any ways of stopping her, or do I just have to suck it up or put her back on the lead?
