Hi Owl - we lost him at the end of Sept. We were just waiting for a bright, sunny day and also it had to 'feel' like it was the right time.

Cath - what a lovely resting place.

Maybe scatter and keep some of the ashes behind?
You can always get a small urn and keep it with your treasured posessions or an ash pendant?

Awww sad
How long ago did you lose him? I lost my Katie beginning of october and I can't bear to scatter her yet, I feel tearful even writing this down. Her ashes are in the airing cupboard.

Both my boys are scattered together on their fave walk by Coniston water. We always go and visit them when we are there.

So sorry for your loss. I pick up my boy's ashes on Friday. Haven't decided what to do with them but your goodbye sounds lovely xx

It was a lovely, bright afternoon. We went to his favourite meadow and did the deed.

Just needed to write that down. Ahhh he will be so missed.
