I am watching my two hounds cuddled up together in Jas's bed having a snooze. The pup has been here for just over 4 weeks, and I am so utterly proud of my adorable but slightly wonky spaniel. He has some fear aggression issues, and generally hates other dogs. Yet here he is, snuggled up with the puppy. He even plays with him. I will admit to a little '80's air punch at this new development. So, come on, share your victories Grin

My 9 month old lab puppy can just about contain himself when I am eating my breakfast toast, and has stopped jumping up in the air trying to eat it. Instead he will sit looking at me with big eyes as though i should recognise that he really half starved. This is after weeks of 'off' commands and generally bad tempered NOs after a while.
But I think he is just trying to fool me as we enter the adolescent stage ..... I did not manage that stage very well as a parent so fingers crossed.
