just taking a moment to thanks for your links yesterday. havent read all of the pages (yet) but getting through them...
today i left a kong filled with chicken/rice (what she's on due to gloopy poo) I read that putting dogs lunch/dinner etc in a kong kepps their mind stimulated longer then chucking it in a bowl.
well when i left the kong and went out, i came back to a near empty kong and a dry kitchen floor! took pup straight out the back and she done a wee. praised her to bits
also i read abit about them walking on the lead and recall. so today for her dinner i put her lead on inside the house (she cant go out until next week)
walked around saying 'walkies' i stopped said sit and she sat for a piece of her food, after a while i took the lead off - me and my son then sat opposite sides of the room and called pup to come for her food. she done so well :)
also with the snarling at giving something up i took note of the 'swaps' part and offered her one of her toys. doesnt drop it straight away but im working on it, when she can have treats might get better
one last thing was to say 'OUCH' when she was mouthing too hard and walking away from her. so much difference when i was continously saying no, no ,no....!
when i get some peace will read the rest, its great help. thank you :)
