The doghouse

A question about huskies

My daughter is making her own set of top trump cards and she would like to put how long a husky is (Siberian or Alaskan - she's not fussy). We've googled it extensively and have the weight and height and all sorts of other information but we're unable to find any information about length.

Any help would be much appreciated by her.

Thank you.

There's no length specified in the breed standard. Mine are both 24" to the shoulder (right at the top of the height limit for dogs, the bitch is too tall), weigh 24kg and the dog is 26" long, the bitch is 29" long.

Going by harness sizes I'd say the most common size is a 22/28 or a 20/27 - so 28" or 27" body length from centre of chest to base of tail would be very typical.

:)

Thank you - you'll make one little girl very happy that she can finish her own personalise top trumps!
