My poor little doggy needs his manly bits off before my dd is born, anyone know the cheapest way of doing this?

Two housebricks?

Sorry, couldn't resist. Grin If you're in receipt of housing benefit or council tax benefit then the PDSA offer reduced cost treatment (you're just asked to make a contribution). Blue Cross offer a similar scheme.

Manly bits?!!

He's a dog.

Neutering is a very standard operation. Your vet will be able to give you a package price, or you can ring round. Generally, you should be looking around £100 mark. He may have to wear an Elizabethan collar for a few days after to stop him licking the stitches.

If you are on benefits, Dogs Trust do neutering vouchers which mean the neutering is free of charge, or you could use PDSA. Some local authorities (depends on the area) also provide subsidised neutering, though there is often a waiting list.
