I walked a dog today for the first time in 5 months!

I've really missed walking the dog since ours was pts at the end of January. I've failed to talk DH into getting another dog for the moment, and haven't found anywhere that will let me foster (due to location, children and an upstairs lounge).

So I've volunteered to walk dogs at the nearest animal rescue place :) today was the induction session and I've walked two dogs and played ball with a third :) I even got doggy kisses! :)

So for a few hours a week I can pretend to be a dog owner again :)

our youngest dc is 3.5 and the rescue I'm walking for won't rehome to families with children under 5, so I figured I'll spend the next 18 months working on DH and by the time they'll accept us he'll be used to the idea!
