my dd got a puppy one, but she will never leave them alone etc she had my dog at hers and she was fine

They are the same as any other breed, some will be fantastic, most will be okay, some will be crap.

We have a mastiff and she is very placid and easygoing. I don't have children of my own but she is excellent with children.

However, she is very strong and can be very bouncy. Her tail is also ridiculously hard and whippy - she once made my 7 year old nephew cry because she wagged her tail hard and it hit him
