Yes, you heard correctly. Peppa has now taken to picking up her water and food bowls and tossing them around the floor. I have wiped up water 4 times today and she has thrown her food all over the floor every time I have fed her. Is there anything I can do other than nailing the bloody bowls to the floor to stop her doing this? I've tried the stern "no" but its not working.

giggle I love puppies Grin

Have your tried a ceramic heavy bowl that she can not pick up? I bet she tries to sit in it though. You can get non stick bowls that have rounded edges that are hard for dogs to pick up and push around. She will grow out of this. (Although I have a collie that still tries to lie in her water bowl when it is hot and she is 9, she then runs up to you and shakes her soaking wet head all over us - nice)

mmm I strongly suspect she is laughing at me, alas, playing pick up of all the bits of dried food scattered accross the floor isnt my idea of fun lol. Little bugger, I'm certainly getting my moneys worth from this puppy!
I was hoping I could get some sort of concrete filled dog bowls that she couldnt pick up - we have ceramic ones already and thats what she is chucking about. Luckily they havent broken yet.

Not helpful, but can't help telling you that my dog - if told off for anything - used to go very deliberately over to his water bowl and stamp his paw in it. Very clear message! I was torn between admiration and exasperation.

Good luck, your puppy does sound adorable (from a safe distance) Grin

Scattering her food over the patio/garden would solve the problem fo her tipping it everywhere and give her more to occupy herself.

Then a large, heavy bowl for the water and just don;t fill it up too much, just in case...

My dogs trail their ears in their water bowls when they drink, but the younger dog gets particularly sodden, and drips water all over the kitchen floor. It annoys Grande Dame dog so much that she furiously cleans up his face, licky-tissue style, if he comes anywhere near her. We just have to shout, 'wet face!' and she ambushes him.

He looks about as chuffed as a small boy would.
