I love MAFS Australia, and it's started again this week in Oz. Does anyone fancy a watch along? I watch on SouthHemiTV.

Already desperate to discuss the first two couples.

Hi! I'm jumping in to say yes I'd like to join you. I love a MAFS thread. Though I'm having difficulty finding the show. Previously there were sites that you could catch-up with. Any ideas? I can get Southernhemitv but it doesn't appear to be cataloging the latest series.

Two episodes down and there is one lovely couple and one guy who is giving me massive 'run, run vibes'.

Yes, he actually gives me really bad vibes. But also, the guy Tim who has only just left a 6 year relationship and his awful best man. How on earth has he beeb allowed onto this. He must have waited at least 30 minutes from the end of his relationship before he applied for MAFS

I wasn't sure whether to wait until this aired in the UK but have already watched ep 1.

Why did no one tell that best man to stfu?! I would have walked out...did he think he was funny?

I think Lucinda might be a slow burn for me, I think in real life I would find her too "out there" so I would probably keep my distance until I got to know her real personality. But she seems like a very nice person.

But with the likes of Jack and Tim it's very clear in this series the experts have no input into the pairings, two more young women thrown together with misogynistic men for the sake of TV.

I'm up to episode 3 now, for when everyone else watches, do you think Mitch regrets not staying with Ella because she was a lovely woman or that he is jealous of her influencer career she's carved since their season?

The best man was awful and crude, but actually he was just taking the piss out of the whole MAFS "experiment" wasn't he by listing all the other ridiculous experiments that Tim had participated in.

But... I wouldn't have sat there and listened to that it was vile. Apparently the producers saw his speech before hand and approved it (what a surprise).

Up to date now and wanting Ep5.
Love Jayden and Eden (high hopes!) think Mitch had a real sense of regret over Ella (he should feel bad as he was pretty awful to her) Natalie and Collins have a long way to go but heavens she needs to calm down a little... Jack is just awful but every series needs a villain...and he's quite easy on the eye! The cousin grilling Ben was just too much!
Loving it though (much much better than the UK version)

So, I'm watching via the Dailymotion site - its not bad!

Collins & Natalie
Jayden & Eden
Cassandra & Tristan

Jack seems like another Harrison to me, and he certainly doesn't fancy her. Tim is not taking it seriously with Sara, so that's going to fail

I'm watching via south h website but it's really jumpy and every now and then the picture sticks and the sound carries on! Not sure if it's the tablet I'm watching it on or their site...driving me slight crackers but I am too impatient to wait for it to drop here in the UK!

There are a lot of spoilers on social media which is annoying. I don't understand why the participants are putting photos etc on Instagram just as the series has started airing. It spoils it for me.

But loving it so far. Natalie seems like a nice girl but she would do my head in, I can't deal with those energy levels. Lucinda too, I'm sure she's a very nice person but she's very full on.

I am so looking forward to the first dinner party.

With MAFS and Australian Survivor I'm going to be speaking with an Australian accent by the end of the month.

Thanks will give that a go. I agree there are so many spoilers - another reason I don't want to watch a couple of weeks behind as will be even more out there! I also listen to so dramatic podcasts usually but can't listen until I've caught up with mafs of course!

Just watched the first dinner party. I'm starting to warm to Lauren now, she might be loud and over the top but she can see through bullshit.

I felt so sorry for Natalie, being paired with that idiot Collins was the worst thing that could have happened to her. He drained her of all her energy, it was sad to see,

What i dont get, is the "experts" saying oh he was this and that and wore a mask in the early interview stages - why let him in for 8 minutes of mediocre acting if they get 1000s of applicants that would have brought and entire season of drama

@LolaLouise one of the things that appeared on social media this weekend is he's a friend of Jesse from the last series so maybe that was why he'd been included.

I think if the experts were really "experts" there's no way Collins or Jack would have been allowed in the process. I wouldn't want my professional reputation associated with this show now, they clearly have no idea.

Poor Natalie, when she said she felt so alone in that crowded room, that really tugged a nerve in me. She was a bit too high energy for me but clearly was a good person in it for the right reasons. My heart really went out to her last night
