John is on telly a lot this week. On Thursday (22nd) he's on "Loose Women" and also "This Week" at 23.35 on BBC1. He's also on Sunday(25th) "The Big Questions" at 10am.

He has a new CD out.

Coincidence?

He was singing live on strictly come dancing the other night and I thought he was a bit rubbish considering how great he thinks he is.

Have you heard him sing in the film "The Producers"? He's very good indeed in that.

If it was a choice of spending an evening with Capt Jack or St Cliff, it's Jack every time. You wouldn't get a shag from either of them, but Cliff's singing voice irritates me, and he looks like a tortoise in a wig.

Well, yes, obv
Given a choice between Donald Rumsfeld and Cliff Richard, I'd choose Rummy tbh

I think his singing is great - ok so its cover versions and he's not operatic or anything, but he holds his own on stage, is entertaining and is lovely to look at!

wish he would sort out his accent though - just be Scottish FGS

Yes I find that a bit disturbing to be honest. He has two "real" accents, how can that be? Surely one must be "put on"?

It's not that odd - his parents still speak with Scottish accents, but he grew up in America.
I speak with a Midlands accent mostly because that's where I've lived for the more time. When I speak to my Dad, I sound all London again for a while. Neither is 'affected', they're just the way the human brain works unconsciously.

We made JB wait for a restaurant table this summer.
We were out in Cardiff Bay with dds.
Waiters let us sit at a table which had 'reserved' on it (it was early evening)...but dds had 2 puds and we lingered over coffee.
Waiters started looking agitated, clearly wanting us to go...then we realised JB was waiting with a group of people for our table.
Right by the area where they film Torchwood too.

OOh mamhaf is he really that gorgeous in RL. DH thinks i'm sad as I have JB website on my favourites list.

Yes, he is gorgeous - but of course not interested in women which kind of takes the shine off.

He looks better as Capt Jack IMO. Which is odd since he still looks like himself...
