What kinds of things do you normally like or dislike?

I've just watched 'how to get away with murder' and found it totally gripping! 'Making a murderer' was good, 'the good wife', 'House MD', 'House of Cards'. I've added 'Barry' to my list to watch when it's released. Also liked 'orange is the new black'.

Brilliant :) there's a couple of things we've already seen but a few we'll definitely try. We watch a real mix usually of drama, comedy and a bit of sci fi so all suggestions welcome

Narcos - if you like gangster films/series. the money made, power gained and violence inflicted is horribly fascinating

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul (I prefer BCS)

House of Cards

Happy Valley (absolutely fantastic series)

Fargo

some good classic films some less known really enjoyed Brooklyn

Someone mentioned Designated Survivor upthread. It started off brilliant but I'm afraid to say has gone right downhill now and we struggled to make it through an episode last night because it has become so absurd!!

Narcos, Stranger Things and Black Mirror are some of the things I've enjoyed recently. OITNB is also great.

I second The Crown. Best period drama I've seen on TV in years. Stranger Things was also awesome if you're up for something a bit creepy.

Occupied is one of the best things I've watched in there. It's about a modern day Russian occupation of Norway, it is incredibly gripping and very well done.

I've just finished The Crown and really enjoyed it. Had to keep pausing to wiki bits like Anthony Eden's illness. The whole Margaret / Townsend thing was fascinating too - the amount of old men interfering in her love life!!

Narcos - just jaw droppingly good. Beautifully filmed and acted, and the fact that it's based on a true story packs an incredible punch.

Other than that I've loved:
House of Cards
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
Kimmy Schmidt
Making A Murderer
Sons of Anarchy (absolutely binged this)
Better Call Saul
Love

Off the top of my head...
